Up until this point, all work was done by myself. I've come to realise that design is hard and it's probably best left to the professionals. I've gotten help from a professional designer, and I'm excited to start working on the new look.

Good on you for realizing that.
I try to outsource or delegate out all the things that I know someone else can do better than me. The sooner I swallowed my pride, the faster things moved.

Thanks! One of the hardest things I've found is being able to think about criticism objectively. I spent a lot of time working on the design but after a few people mentioned that it did not look like a professional product, I knew what needed to be done.

Out of an interested for some new technologies, I decided to build a web app. Most Developers tend to make tons of projects but never really finish any. My goal is different. I want to go through the entire lifecycle of an application. The general idea is to go through the process of planning, implementing, sharing and iterating on the product. So here is where it all starts, the idea of RecruitBot begins.
