Find Your Customers On Reddit
Something shifted in how people find products.
It didn't happen overnight, but by now it's undeniable. Millions of buyers have stopped typing queries into Google and started asking AI. They ask ChatGPT which project management tool is worth switching to. They ask Perplexity which email platform has the best deliverability for cold outreach. They ask Gemini to compare CRMs for a 20-person sales team. And then — without clicking through ten blue links — they make a decision based on whatever the AI told them.
That's the new buying journey. And most marketers have no idea how to show up in it.
Here's the part that changes everything: AI assistants don't make up their answers from thin air. They retrieve them. They pull from sources — crawled pages, indexed forums, cited communities. And when researchers, journalists, and SEOs started tracing exactly where ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini get their information, one platform kept appearing at the top of the list.
Reddit.
Not a brand's homepage. Not a press release. Not a LinkedIn post. Reddit — a 19-year-old forum platform built on community upvotes, genuine disagreement, and zero tolerance for corporate nonsense.
Reddit accounts for roughly 24% of all citations in Perplexity answers. It contributes around 5% of ChatGPT citations — a number that sounds small until you realize it beats every other single-domain source. Brands with an established Reddit presence are cited by AI models four times more often than brands that aren't there at all. And when someone asks an AI assistant for a product recommendation in your category, the answer it gives is almost always shaped — directly or indirectly — by what Reddit's communities have said.
This playbook is about getting your brand into those answers.

We've been quiet for a few months, but not idle.
Two big features just shipped for Reddifier, and I want to explain the thinking behind them — because they're connected in a way that isn't obvious from the changelog.
The problem we kept hearing
When we talk to users, they describe two completely separate fears:
The first: "I'm spending time on Reddit but I can't tell if it's actually working."
The second: "I'm scared of losing my account. One ban and months of work disappears."
We'd been treating those as two separate product problems. Then we realised they're the same problem — Reddit is a high-value channel that nobody trusts enough to invest in seriously, because the risk of losing access sits in the background of every session.
So we shipped both fixes together.
Simple Lead Generation Pipeline
Reddit conversations are full of people in active buying mode. They're asking "what tool should I use for X," comparing options, describing exact problems that your product solves. They're not anonymous traffic — they're named users with post history, subreddit context, and real intent signals.
The new pipeline lets you promote any Reddit user directly from a discovered thread into a tracked lead. Score them A/B/C/D. Move them from New → Contacted → Qualified → Closed. Add notes, track contact info, and see the original Reddit thread that started the relationship.
Reddit stops being a branding exercise. It becomes a sales channel with a pipeline you can actually manage.
Account Safety Suite
Every Reddit account gets a ban risk score from 0–100, updated in real time. We track karma trends over 30 days, flag subreddit compliance issues before you post, and give you specific recommendations when an account is drifting toward risky territory.
The goal was simple: remove the fear that stops people from investing in Reddit seriously. If you know your account is healthy — with a number, not a gut feeling — you post more confidently and more consistently. That consistency is what actually drives results.
What's next
We're working on a Reddit post scheduler with per-subreddit timing recommendations — so users can plan content for their best posting windows without having to remember that Tuesday 9am EST is when r/startups is most active.

Hey Indie Hackers 👋
I just launched Reddifier — a tool built to help SaaS founders, marketers, agencies, and solo makers grow with Reddit without spamming or getting banned.
Why I built it
Reddit is one of the best places for organic traffic. Its threads often rank on Google’s first page, and more people use Reddit results directly through AI search tools.
But here’s the pain:
Posting feels risky → one wrong move and your account is shadowbanned.
Subreddit rules are confusing → each community has its own strict guidelines.
It’s hard to scale → monitoring threads, posting at the right time, and tracking ROI is manual and exhausting.
I felt this pain firsthand while promoting my own projects, so I built Reddifier to solve it.
What it does
Thread Finder: Discover Reddit posts already ranking on Google — so you can join conversations where people are actively searching.
AI Post & Comment Assistant: Drafts authentic, non-spammy replies tailored to subreddit culture.
Rule Compliance Checker: Every draft gets scanned against subreddit rules (to avoid bans).
Content Planner & Scheduler: Plan and schedule posts across accounts.
Competitor/Keyword Monitoring: Track mentions of your competitors or topics to jump in fast.
Analytics: See how your Reddit activity contributes to traffic, SEO, and engagement.
Who it’s for
SaaS startups validating products or finding leads.
E-commerce brands looking for authentic product exposure.
Agencies managing multiple clients.
Indie hackers who want visibility without spending on ads.
Where I’m at
✅ MVP live on reddifier.com
✅ Early users testing core features
🔄 Adding more anti-ban + authenticity features
What I’d love from IH
Feedback on positioning: Should I lean more towards SaaS founders, agencies, or general marketers?
Feature requests: What would make you feel safe and effective using Reddit as a channel?
Honest thoughts: Would you pay for something like this, and if yes, at what tier?
