July 19, 2019 Still more work to do

Turns out, a major part of the MVP development process is making sure the end user has an easy means of using the product. With the RCK, it was considered best practice to make it into a web app using Django, but this has been considerably more difficult than anticipated.

In terms of marketing, sent the emails about 16 hours ago with no response. Thinking it might be better to try go into personal discord servers and direct message the YouTubers who own the server. Should also go back to Twitter, where the idea was initially validated.

Notes for the future though, it is important to avoid solving just the first problem presented in a market, and instead verify the problem is shared among a majority of the market.

June 10, 2019 Story so far

Heard from a friend of mine that the narrative Reddit Videos were something they enjoyed listening to. Having seen a few myself, thought "I could probably automate that" and did some work to automate the narration end.
I would then send a tweet to one of the Youtubers making the videos, and while they took a while to reply (and would do so with enthusiasm), another person wanted more information on what I was doing, and would help me narrow down my MVP.
Found out, the narration of a specific comment was not all that difficult, but cropping it down line by line was. So I shifted focus, and would complete the MVP on the 8th of July (turns out, computer vision isn't as sexy as people make it out to be).
Now trying to see how to prevent the software from potentially being stolen, or whether this is even a concern.
