Redeeem

We deployed a chrome extension that shows the key market statistics. We promoted it to our existing network, and so far it seems very valuable. The chrome extension also allows people to see the gift cards for sale, and link directly into the app to a trade.

We hit $10k per day in October 2018. This growth was mostly fueled by word of mouth, and some Quora answers, at this time we were still 100% focused on building product and understanding our customers better to survive the next day.

At the time we were allowing PayPal, which we no longer do, it's 100% cryptocurrency exchanges.

We soft launched in February with a basic feature set, and built on top of that, in the beginning it was very manual and the peer to peer was a hand holding process to make sure nothing went wrong (and things still went wrong), but we made it through alive.

We were initially inspired by Paxful and Localbitcoins, allowing peer to peer trading, but we felt we could do it better.

Initially we were in the process of selling HomeHero, but we quickly transitioned to building Redeeem.com, and hired a couple people from our old company.
