Redvilla
A Marketplace of Digital Products
After uploading a track called 'Mary On A Cross - Lofi Remix' (https://youtube.com/watch?v=VYaEtosDWUM), The channel saw a rise in views and subscribers.
The YouTube Channel reached 500 subscribers on the 6th of January, 2024. The virality of this song also helped the website with new users.
Since October, I have been emailing our registered users with what they like to download on the internet. Users had broad requirements. Many were interested in Christian Orthodoxy, and many liked Cars like Lexus. Some users liked Art preserved in Museums.
I tried my best to add most of the products they recommended. I didn't add illegal/ copyrighted content which could have lowered the life of our website. All of the content added to the website was from Public Domain or CC0 Libraries. We also added a takedown policy such that, potential copyright owners could take down any content they own.
Users loved these Public Domain Images, Movies, and Musical tracks and shared the website with their friends and colleagues. I believe Word of mouth is the most impactful thing that could result in significant user growth. Having active communication helped us reach 500 Registered Users within 3 months. Organic Traffic also played a supportive role in gaining the following accomplishment.

On 24th October, RedVilla reached 100 Monthly Active Users.
Adding thousands of free Digital Products on the website was a core reason for the rise in users. The majority of user growth was from India & United States.
The most popular content on the website was Ancient Byzantine Images, Public Domain Videos, and RedVilla Music.

It looks like your most popular images are all Eastern Orthodox iconography. Was this intentional or has your marketplace just kind of evolved that way?

It was intentional.
I started with uploading random images at start. I realised that I was getting more views on Christian & ancient art. So, I uploaded more of them.

Very interesting! Thanks for sharing. It caught my eye because I'm Orthodox and iconography is a big part of the theology but also because these images are a fast-growing niche in e-commerce - https://www.uncutmountainsupply.com/ is a good example.

Today we received our first sale on the website!
The order was a Cameron Music License with .WAV file. The buyer was a musical enthusiast of interest in Caribbean music. He listened a YouTube video and, contacted me through Instagram on how he can access the beat.
Then we sent him the website link

On June 29, We managed to hit our first 100 subscribers!
The following achievement taught me how important consistency is! From the starting of the YouTube channel, I tried my best to focus on Quantity (Producing different styles/ genres of music) as well as Quality (Learning useful skills in music production).

To increase the reach and customers for my gigs, I started a YouTube Channel called "RedVilla". I decided to post personal as well as sold music projects (By Permission from the User).
At the start, I planned to post videos consistently on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
