Refactoring Growth
A video course helping makers become marketers
Since it's a relatively high ticket item, it actually didn't take that many sales to get here. But it officially passed $10k in revenue 5 months since inception!
It's been mostly from my email list and Twitter, which is unbelievable since both are ~free.
With about 300 people on the email list, I launched the course and made it live.
For everyone who bought the pre-sale, all they had to do was login.
For everyone else, the course was now available to be bought and start diving into the content immediately.

About 6 weeks after first starting on the content, I finished writing it all out in Notion and then translating the written content into Google Slides.
The Google Slides took the longest because I had to split up all the content and then create the graphics... and I am NOT a designer. I tried to keep everything mostly to a consistent, simple theme.

I decided to open up a pre-launch sale at 50% off and sold almost $3k worth! It was definitely motivating as I was just in the middle of a slump trying to push through to finish the content.
This gave me enough motivation to finish up and get it out the door!

After finishing up my other course Mental Models For Marketing, I started outlining the course material for Refactoring Growth.
Having just spent the last 30 days building the other course, I was still very much in "the zone" and started outlining right away.

I had Refactoring Growth in the back of my mind for a LONG time. I had been involved in the Indie Hackers community and meeting with founders for fun to help with marketing.
The more I helped, the more I realized how unique marketing is for SaaS, and saw that there was an opportunity for an extensive course on the topic.

Making a product is easy. Getting paying customers and retaining them for a long time? That's hard. I've personally helped hundreds of founders with growth, marketing, and sales, and finally codifying it into a course.
