Reg.Works Scheduling
Multi-track event scheduling
I should have gotten started on marketing a bit earlier, but I've so pre-occupied with trying to make the software ready for general usage that I really neglected marketing. But there's no time like the present to get started. There are still a couple features that most customers will need and there are always things that could be fixed, but I've got to get my hustle on.
Our first customer, SNAFU Con, ran their first event with a Reg.Works schedule. It was a lot of work to get here and I learned a lot, but it was so satisfying actually seeing attendees use our schedule.
We only need about 50 more annual events like SNAFU Con before I can sustain myself on this. I'm looking forward to that.

We finally have gotten to a point where we can serve our first customer, SNAFU Con, for their 2019 event. We still don't have all the features they need, but they're on our roadmap and will be ready by their event. It's time to put product to the test.

With a major project closing at my old job and a good amount of savings, I decided that was a good time for me to move forward with working on Reg.Works full time. I've been trying to build it on nights and weekends, but I just haven't been making the progress I need. I'm a bit nervous, but I'm looking forward to the future.

My co-founders and I talked for a while about how we wanted to make event management better for everyone. We've all been running events together for years and we know that there's a serious gap in tools that people need to run their events. We came up with a name and filed a company with the state.

As an event runner, I wanted to make events easier to run and I was unsatisfied with available solutions for scheduling.
