Breach, SIM swap, and wallet monitoring via WA and Telegram
Six weeks ago I launched RelayShield, a breach, SIM swap, and wallet monitoring service that alerts users via WhatsApp and Telegram. No app, no dashboard, instant alerts to your phone the moment a threat is detected.
I built it solo on AWS Lambda and DynamoDB as a side project alongside my day job in telecom security. 25 years watching carriers detect SIM swap attacks in real time while consumers get no visibility whatsoever was enough motivation.
Here's what I've learned so far:
Delivering alerts via WhatsApp and Telegram eliminates the biggest SaaS adoption barrier: nobody wants another app
The freemium breach check converts well when users actually find the bot
Distribution is harder than building: directories, Reddit, and partnerships are the current focus
