The #1 Facebook Ads Custom Audiences Builder
Monday, 24th August. That's the day we carefully chose to launch our first campaign. We thought we had a higher chance to be seen if we chose a suitable date. It's the end of the summer break in the North hemisphere, but the news are still quiet as big brands save their big bullets for September.
We stood for the principle that people don't want to be sold. So, instead of releasing a tweet talking about us, we went for a more organic & insightful approach. We published a twitter thread, also known as tweetstorm, to give value and open a conversation with our target audience:

Only at the very end, we would talk about us. And we did it in an unintrusive way:

We are delighted with the results:
- We reached 19,121 users
- 174 people liked the thread
- 28 users retweeted it
- We gained 80 followers
To reach the right people in our audience, we promoted the post. We spent $120, which gave us most of the impressions:

Getting buzz on Twitter is great, but without traffic & signups it's all pointless.
The good news is that it also worked in terms of signups. We got 41 new users. Three of them are large, potentially enterprise clients.
Some basic math: Cost per signup has been $2,9.
But because our product appeals to companies with at least 20,000 customers, we prefer to measure the cost to acquire a customer of at least that size. We call them "desired customers".
Back to the math, the cost per signup of a desired customer has been $40.
We are satisfied with the cost per signup, especially considering that SaaS companies expect costs per qualified lead well above the $200.
As we create more content, we'll definitely continue to publish it and promote it on Twitter.
That's all for today. If you want to know more of have specific questions, drop me a comment below and I'll be happy to answer.
PS: here's the link to the launching tweet, in case you want to check it out:
One week after our public beta announcement, we turned the visibility switch ON at the Shopify App Store:

We think that the Shopify App Store can be a good source of qualified traffic. Our customers are e-commerce brands who already run Facebook Ads, so it makes a lot to be there.
We'll let you know how it goes!

Hey IndieHackers! Here's our first post to track our company progress.
Today, we are happy to announce that have we finally launched in public beta 🎉
Our product helps brands generate repeat sales from their existing customers, with a twist: We do it via Facebook Ads.
We are in an unexplored territory. Billions are poured annually into Zuckerberg's advertising network, and yet few brands use it to entice customers to buy again from them.
This is good and bad news:
Good news - We don't have much competition.
Bad news - We have little demand, and not many references to look into when developing the product.
That's why, before going into public beta, we have been working with testing clients. Thanks to them, we've been able to learn what tools they need and have turned them into product features.
I have written a post in our website about our public beta launch. You can read it here.
