It was a slow process to get that much downloads, but it gave me the time to make the app better and better. And avoid to be submerged by support emails of unhappy users.

Partnership with outdoor athletes was a big help to both improve the app and get it to be known

A lot of coding, a lot of outdoor testing, and a previous beta version lead to this first app launch on the 1st of January, 2019

Not a lot of downloads at the begining, about 20 per day.
The app was quite unfinished but having feedback from early adopters gave me the motivation to keep inproving it, as I & the users were seeing it having a good potential to be an awesome app in the future.
