February 26, 2026 ReliqueX: Bridging physical luxury with on-chain liquidity 🟒

Hey fellow hackers! πŸ‘‹

Today marks a massive milestone for us. We just officially launched the MVP of ReliqueX, a closed-curation Real-World Asset (RWA) protocol built on the BNB Chain.

Why we built this:

I was tired of seeing Web3 capabilities limited to speculative digital art while real, tangible value remained locked away. The ultra-luxury market (think Patek Philippe, Hermes, authenticated sneakers) is heavily gatekept by massive capital requirements. We wanted to democratize access to the top 1% of collectibles.

How we did it:

We aren't just a marketplace; we are the custodians. We physically acquire, authenticate, and lock these luxury assets in insured, climate-controlled vaults. Then, we mint fractionalized tokens 1:1 against the physical asset to provide instant on-chain liquidity. All Proof of Reserves and vault status certificates are pinned immutably to IPFS.

The Design Challenge:

High-end luxury usually demands a clean, minimalist "Web2" aesthetic. We went the exact opposite route. To reflect the high-security nature of our physical vaults and smart contracts, we built the entire platform using a hardcore, dark-mode cyberpunk terminal UI. We wanted it to feel like you are securely accessing a Swiss bank vault.

We are currently live on Product Hunt and a few other directories today, but I wanted to share this here first. I would absolutely love the IH community's feedback on our UI/UX, the physical-to-digital pipeline, or the RWA space in general!

About

The ultra-luxury market is heavily gatekept. I built ReliqueX to fix this by physically vaulting assets (like Pateks & Birkins) and fractionalizing them 1:1 on the BNB Chain.
