April 8, 2020 Launched Approvals for Any CI CD Feature

We are transitioning to connect Business teams and Tech teams and this is our first feature in this direction. Since it allows Business to give manual approvals in the middle of any Continuous Delivery pipeline built by operations.

To demonstrate the feature, I recorded a demo here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzdZjMby6Is

February 28, 2020 Completed MVP

After 2 months of full-time work on the project, I completed the MVP and it is now available at https://relizahub.com .

MVP primarily covers following workflows:

  1. Create Projects and assemble them into Products using Integration instances or manually
  2. For Projects, allow automated version increments and hooks to automatically increment versions from CI / CD system
  3. Retrieve latest versions of Products from new Instances and use these details in the CD pipeline.

December 16, 2019 Started working on Reliza Hub full time

I passed my last final exam at my University (for Masters degree), stopped most of my consulting projects and dedicated my full time attention to Reliza Hub. This was a tough decision but necessary as before I always seemed to not have enough time for the project.

January 1, 2019 Came Up With Idea

On my previous DevOps & leadership job, it was always a struggle to know what version of what component is deployed, how to assemble different components into a single product, how to track this work and make it auditable to ensure compliance.

We were mingling with bunch of different tools trying to make it work, but it all seemed like a huge pile of workaround. I tried to look for existing tools on the market, but they were either scoped to a single technology (i.e., single CI or CD tool) or not really solving the problem.

So I decided to start Reliza and build Reliza Hub.

As the IT world transitions to microservices, I was surprised to realize that there is a lack of tooling addressing assembly of all those components into a single project. I decided to solve this problem with Reliza Hub.
