HippoCam
Remember Every Thing
HippoCam is a minimal, privacy-first app for saving things that don’t belong in your Photos library — especially helpful if you’re forgetful or have ADHD.
No ads, no tracking, everything stays on your device.
In HippoCam, you can label, tag, attach locations to photos, and find them anytime.
This update focuses on smoother interactions, better imports, and important fixes.
What’s new:
- 📋 Memory list can now be pulled from the bottom
- 🖼️ Added support for imported landscape images
- 👁️ New eye-opening effect when the camera loads
Fixes:
- Tags no longer disappear from the list
- Fixed a timezone issue that could make memories appear missing
- Private memories are no longer indexed by Spotlight
- Exported images are now optimized (24MB → ~2MB)

This update makes HippoCam more connected with iOS:
Siri support → “Hey Siri, open keys in HippoCam”
Spotlight indexing → open memories right from system search
Shorcuts→ create memories directly in Shorcuts
and more..
HippoCam is free, private, and keeps all your data on device.

I’ve just published a simple User Guide for my app Remember — a tool that helps you capture and find where you stored things.
The guide covers:
- How to capture and label memories
- How to browse, search, and find them
- How to add notes, tags, and location
- How everything stays private on your device
👉 Full guide here: https://rogy.app/remember-help
Why I wrote it:
Some of Remember’s gestures and features aren’t always obvious — I wanted to make a clean, simple guide (inspired by Apple’s support pages) so anyone can get more value from the app.
Would love any feedback — or ideas for improving the guide!
(Or the app itself — still adding features bit by bit 🚀)

I just released Remember 1.1.0 — a big update that makes the app much more powerful and flexible! 🎉
Remember helps you keep track of life’s small but important things — where you stored that spare charger, your old notebooks, adapters, or souvenirs.
Just snap a photo, add a label, and easily find it later — with location and extra details attached.
What’s new in 1.1.0:
- Add Notes to your memories — capture extra details and context
- Search by Notes — find memories faster
- Import Photos from your Library or Files app
- Full Files app integration — browse, backup, and export memories easily
- Smarter storage — images are now saved as JPG (faster & smaller)
- Improved folder structure with helpful README for backups
- Autofill metadata — location, caption, and date when importing photos

Remember is completely free and privacy-first — everything stays on your device.
No tracking. No cloud required. No ads.
This is a solo indie project — I’m building it for myself and for anyone else who finds it useful.
Would love to hear your feedback, feature ideas, or anything else!

Full Files app support – each memory is now a folder you can access directly
Added README.txt – with backup and restore instructions
Readable file structure – images +
memory.txtwith all the detailsSafe folder names – no weird symbols, no sync issues

It’s a little app I built to help you remember where you put your stuff.
Take a picture, label it, and find it later — simple as that.
Would love your support ❤️
