Remode

When we were somehow satisfied with the product our first step was to somehow lead at least 1000 people to see the product. As we are a tightly bootstrapped startup we are trying to do this with absolutely no budget. Having no idea how to accomplish that, we started with the classics, twitter digging and some forum posting.

Meanwhile I've decided that we somehow need a log to keep to remind us what we've done. Indiehackers maybe a suitable place for this as it has a zero hassle ui that could easily be used for this purpose.

It's funny the fact that you can create something matters far less than how connected you are to getting it publicly known.

There is this tool that may be of a need for some people out there, we'll see how many hoops we'll jump through to get it to them.

The app does not yet have a model to make revenue.
I have some ideas and came here so that I can mature a way to create revenue.

My idea is that for a digital nomad, the app is going to be always free.

But if you want to manage for example more than 10-15 PCs, or you want data to be updated frequently than the default, or you want to keep a yearly history of your computer health data, there may be a need bill these...

I don't know. We'll see. :)

After fixing multiple bugs and multiple design refinements to the app now am kind of eager enough to throw it in front of outer users. As I did not know how to do this, I came here from Nomad Ambassador Extraordinaire @levelsio 's NomadList OpenStartup informational page. Thought I could follow similar paths as much as they suit my project, and as much limited to my talents :)

Every project definitely needs a closed beta stage.
Well, in my case, closed beta is just beta, as if nobody knows your project, it is actually a closed beta. :)
And you try to make / force / torture your friends to use it so that you can get the feedback and improve the product, before trying to make / lure / enchant new people to reach the product somehow. So I can be sure of what I did actually works :)
Successfully completed this phase. Multiple bugs fixed.

I learned how to create a safe and secure Windows exe that wouldn't be blocked in the runtime.

I learned that it was definitely necessary to make a closed beta with the nearest sincere circle of people you have so that you can stabilize any app.

Now trying to figure out how to make a public beta.

With a friend. A friend who developed the Remode Windows app using Go.
We were talking about digital nomads and remote teams that have communication issues. And also managing a remote team, or a bunch of family computers of a family located in multiple cities.. You never know if their hard disk is full or their internet is 1MBit/sec while they are complaining about their computers.

Plus, multiple times when we work painfully at a coffeeshop or our computer slows down somehow we may miss the signs why.
