October 13, 2023 Reaching 250 companies, and some more

Remote or Not has reached 251 companies! This is incredible! It's growing fast, and I encourage you to contribute.

Other than this, I added a few other features:

  • All companies now have logos
  • There is a proper OpenGraph image for when sharing the website on social networks
  • There is a now a feed of "micro-updates", which will contain new publications with updates about the product.

Thank you!

October 9, 2023 Reaching 180 companies!

I'm happy to share that Remote or Not now lists 180 companies! The data still needs help in adjustment, but I'm slowly and surely, adding more companies.

My intention is to grow Remote or Not to be the go-to place for checking the remote and WFH policies of your company, or a potential future employer.

If you can contribute, I'd highly appreciate it!

See you at 200.

      Whoo! Thank you very much!

October 6, 2023 100 unique visitors in less than 24 hours!

Yesterday, after less than 24 hours of being live, Remote or Not reached 100 unique visitors!

It's an incredible milestone, and a strong validation for the need of such product. I was also added more than 10 contributions from the community, and I hope for more to come!

I didn't do much marketing. I posted about it in Twitter, Mastodon and LinkedIn. I also scheduled a ProductHunt launch for next week.

Remote or Not is built in a visible way, and I tweet/toot about in my Twitter/Mastodon, so consider following it.

October 4, 2023 Today, I launch the raw and basic version of Remote or Not.

Remote or Not is a website dedicated to finding a company based on their remote policy.

WFH and remote became a big part of our life, following the events of 2019. In fact, it's so big and employees are willing to change company due to poor remote/WFH policy.

This is why I created Remote or Not—to you help find the next company based on their remote/wfh policy.
