Came up with the idea
After being frustrated with the tools available for recording remote interviews in high quality I decided to build something I would actually enjoy using by focusing solely on two things:
- sound quality
- ease of use (for hosts as well as inexperienced guests)

This is really good stuff Daniel! How's the project going? Seeing user adoption? I've heard so many people tell me that recording quality, remote interviews is a hurdle for them. I feel like this is a great space to be working in.
Thank you! Remotely has been in closed beta for a few months now, but just last week it entered open beta. So far the feedback has been good! And you are right, there is definitely demand for a service like this. My main focus at the moment is to make sure the user experience is great so I can stand out from the competition! 🎙
Yea, that's always the tough balance you need to strike when being an indie hacker. I'm curious, are users giving you actionable feedback on new features they want? I've learned that building something those first few users find really valuable is the best way to really differentiate yourself from the competition.
I'm working on putting together a resource of helpful tools for podcasters, is it cool if I include Remotely? I'll share the list with you once I have it up and going.
I've had great feedback from friends and family during the closed beta. The open beta looks promising but it's still too early to tell.
