Congratulations!
Wouldn't it be great to have a search box on the home page where job seekers can search for jobs based on skills, tech stack, designation, experience, etc.?
Once a specific job is posted, the post remains active for a long time, even after all positions are filled. This is true for most job board sites. What are your thoughts on implementing a mechanism to deactivate a particular job posting once it has expired?
Is it a good idea to offer sessions like mock interviews, mentorship, training, etc. for job seekers under the same hood?
All the best :)
Hey,
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I completely agree that having a search box on the home page for job seekers to search for jobs based on their skills, tech stack, etc. would be a fantastic addition. We already have this on our feature roadmap :)
Regarding your second point - we've identified this issue on other job boards and addressed it on Remotely by implementing an automated popup informing the job seeker that the job posting has likely expired. Here's an example: https://tryremotely.com/remote-jobs/looper-ruby-on-rails-developer-387
Lastly, I think adjacent offerings like mock interviews, training etc. are definitely something that job seekers might find useful, however, we'd like to first ensure that our traditional job board offering is as good as possible before expanding into additional services.
Thank you again for your helpful suggestions!
Cheers,
Axel
