Repolve
Every rep Evolves you
Repolve started because I was frustrated with workout trackers.
I could log every set, rep, and PR, but I still couldn’t really answer:
What does any of this actually mean?
Am I getting stronger? What am I good at? What’s falling behind?
So I started building a Strength Score and muscle-by-muscle Strength Profile that changes as you train.
The other half came from how social the gym is in real life.
You train with friends, send each other workouts, talk about PRs, compare progress, and motivate each other to actually show up.
But most workout trackers still feel like personal databases.
So Repolve gradually became social too. You can share workouts and templates, see your friends’ progress and PRs, and compete in monthly Seasons based on progress and consistency rather than absolute strength.
The first TestFlight version went out in April.
Since then I’ve spent months building features, watching people use them completely differently than I expected, redesigning onboarding, changing how the Strength Score works, and trying to figure out the much harder problem:
How do I get someone to care enough to keep coming back?
And then, because apparently building the actual app wasn’t enough, I spent around 8 hours yesterday making the launch video 😂
Today Repolve is finally on the App Store and we’re launching on Product Hunt.
I definitely don’t have distribution figured out yet. Retention is still the thing I care most about proving, and right now I’m basically trying everything I can to get Repolve in front of enough people to find out whether this can really work.
But going from an idea I was building for myself to watching real people train with it has been pretty surreal.
Would love feedback from other founders, especially anyone who has dealt with the transition from “people think this is cool” to “people actually build a habit around this.”
And if nothing else, please watch the launch video so I can emotionally justify those 8 hours 😂

About
I started Repolve because I felt like workout trackers were really good at recording what I did, but not helping me understand what any of it meant.

The real test now seems to be habit formation. From the users you’ve watched, what behavior best predicts someone coming back to Repolve?
The strongest signal so far seems to be completing a real workout. Users who get through that first full workout are much more likely to come back than users who only complete onboarding.
My current hypothesis is that the habit starts once Repolve becomes part of the actual gym routine, rather than something they just explore once. The next thing I want to understand is whether getting users to a second workout quickly makes that habit meaningfully stronger.
That first completed workout is a strong behavioral threshold, especially with the second-workout question still open. If you’re open to it, what’s the best email to reach you on?
