30 min guided meditations — no choice, just practice
Reset has no settings, no streaks, and no mood-matching. Sessions are 30 minutes, guided, and chosen at random from a growing library.
I've been practicing on and off for years — 5–10 min sessions on Headspace for a while, then 20–45 min sessions on Waking Up for a few years, and recently a 10-day Goenka Vipassana retreat.
I keep coming back to a particular arc for the sessions: open with focused attention — breath, body scan — to settle down. Move into a non-dual technique to settle into the insight, then stay there for a while. Shuffling these techniques has been helpful in two ways — keeps it interesting, and deepens the practice by showing that there are many ways to enter it, find it, realise it.
I've found this arc hard to reach in a short sit, and hard to hold entirely on my own outside a retreat centre, so far. Reset is the version I'm able to open on a regular weekday, press play, and settle into awareness.
Open to feedback and suggestions. Thanks!
