Resetr
Micro-doses of Peace
Hey Indie Hackers! 👋
I’m working on a platform called Resetr - a tool that helps people take intentional pauses in the middle of chaotic urban life.
If you’ve ever craved just 10 minutes of peace in a loud, crowded city… this might speak to you.
What is Resetr?
Resetr is a curated map of calm places in busy cities.
Think: hidden gardens, rooftop parks, quiet cafes, peaceful libraries, meditative spots, real-world locations where you can reset your mind and your nervous system.
It’s built around the idea of micro-breaks: short pauses that improve focus, lower stress, and bring clarity during a hectic day.
Why I built it
Because I realized most wellness tools ignore the environment.
They tell you to breathe or meditate while you’re surrounded by noise, notifications, or concrete.
Resetr fills that gap. It gives you physical spaces that support your mental clarity.
It started from a personal need, but now I’m turning it into a community tool.
A community-powered map
This isn’t just my map, it’s ours.
Users can also add their own favorite calm spots, helping each other discover hidden gems in their own cities. I’m building this as a space where people don’t just consume, they contribute, share, and connect around one simple idea: We all need a pause sometimes.
I envision Resetr growing into a community of mindful urban explorers, people who help each other find stillness, presence, and inspiration, right where they are.
The long-term vision
While we continue to grow the map with the help of the community, I’m also working on content that supports the same mission:
Science-backed insights on how short breaks affect the brain and body
Simple tips for building a more mindful, intentional day
Rituals and reflections to bring into your resets
Curated micro-itineraries for city wanderers in need of stillness
My goal is for Resetr to become the go-to platform for location-based wellness: a space that combines calm places, mindful tools, and a growing global community.
Where we are now
We’re currently focused on mapping spots in New York, London, and Paris, with more cities to come.
I'd love your thoughts
Have you ever needed something like this during a stressful day?
Would you be interested in contributing to a map like this?
What features would you want in a tool that helps you reset?
Thanks for reading, and if this resonates, I'd love to connect! 🙌
