Reshape API
Transform data in real time
When we started working on this side project the initial plan was to launch within 6 months. However, it took about 10.
That can be attributed to many reasons. Mostly that it turned out to be technically more difficult than we imagined.
I guess the old notion, that you have to add 30percent more to your estimates is true.
🔴 The problem
What I had come to realize when building a Indie UX project is that no-code tools are a bit like lego blocks when you want to automate and pass data from one app to the next. They don't always fit together well. You always have to work around that problem.
My own personal experience was trying to transmit info from Webflow to MailerLite through Zapier. I could not grab the exact word or number that I needed. It was super annoying.
🟢 The solution
We decided to scratch this itch and create a little cool called Reshape API. In rough terms, it's an automation bridge that integrates your API responses together and reshapes them to fit inside other no-code applications.
You don't need to know any code. Although the builder will allow you to see what's happening with the transform

Expectation: a no-code builder sends data to an automation tool, such as Zapier, and it works like magic. Reality: it’s like the Lego blocks that don’t fit together. Different data formats, excessive or missing info.
