Slack bot that auto-collects and responds to questions.
Part of our value prop at Respo is that we only send you questions/answers from messages that you should have access to (aka. we don't violate Slack's permissions). As part of that, we had to make sure that questions posted in private channels to go across channels. This feature was a good chunk of work but really important for us to really let our customers run wild with our product.
Officially completed our incorporation. Used Clerky and after going through the flow, agreeing on share distribution and buying our shares, we're good to go! Main motivation for doing this was to get rid of any personal liability and put some more skin in the game.
Reached out to my network and immediately found a company that was interested in trying it out. We took a quick call to talk about the reason behind the product and show them a quick demo and they were sold. Installation is just a few clicks, so we got setup quickly.
After carefully scoping out the features that we wanted as part of our MVP to validate our idea, we got to work on sketches and requirements then built it out. Within a few weeks and a few long nights we had a functional product that we were ready to show the world.
PS: Building for Slack is a delightful experience. Their documentation and tools are fantastic.
