September 4, 2026 I built an AI returns analytics tool for e-commerce stores while finishing high school. Now I'm trying to get my first users.

I'm 18 and I shipped my first SaaS two months ago. No co-founder, no investors, just me, codex, and a lot of late nights between study sessions.

THE PROBLEM I KEPT SEEING:
E-commerce brand/store owners treat returns as a logistics problem. Process the refund, restock the item, move on. But the data sitting inside those returns is incredibly valuable. It tells you exactly which products have sizing issues, which descriptions are misleading, which items arrive damaged. Most stores never look at it.

I built Retrnly to change that. You upload your returns CSV or connect Shopify, and the app runs your data through Gemini AI to identify which products are driving the most returns, why, and what to fix. It generates prioritized recommendations like "update your size chart for SKU #1047" or "add better photos for this product" with an estimated monthly savings figure for each fix.

Where I am now:
Retrnly is live at retrnly.com. There's a free analysis for new users, You can upload your returns data and get a full AI report without entering a card. Paid plans start at $45/month.

I have zero paying users right now, That's the honest truth. I'm good at building things but I'm learning that distribution is a completely different skill.

What I'm looking for:
If you run an ecommerce store (or know someone who does), I'd genuinely love for you to try the free analysis and tell me what you think. Even if it's brutal feedback, especially if it's brutal feedback honestly.

And if you've been in the "built it, now what?" phase before, I'd love to hear how you got your first 10 users.

About

I built Retrnly because I kept seeing the same pattern with ecommerce founders I talked to: returns get treated as a logistics problem (process the refund, restock the item, move on) instead of a data problem.
