Affordable dunning for indie SaaS on Stripe

Visit Website
March 24, 2026 I built a $19/mo dunning tool for Stripe because everything else costs $99-249

I run a few small SaaS products on Stripe. A couple months ago I started paying attention to my failed payments tab and realized I had no system for recovering them.

Looked at the options:

- Churn Buster: starts at $99/mo (recently dropped from $249)
- Baremetrics Recover: $158/mo
- Stunning: opaque pricing

For a solo dev doing under $25K MRR across multiple products, spending $99-158/mo on dunning felt like paying more than the problem was costing me.

Industry data says 20-40% of all churn is involuntary (expired cards, bank declines). And about 70% of that is recoverable with proper dunning emails. The math is clear - but the existing tools are priced for companies 10x my size.

So I built Revenudge (https://revenudge.com).

What it does:

- Detects cards expiring in 30/14/7 days and emails customers before the payment fails (pre-dunning)
- Sends branded recovery emails (Day 1, 3, 7) when payments do fail
- One-click card update page with your branding
- Dashboard to track what's at risk and what's been recovered

What it costs: $19/mo (Starter), $39/mo (Growth), $79/mo (Scale). 14-day free trial.

I'm dogfooding it on my own products right now. No paying customers yet - just launched. Would love feedback from anyone dealing with the same problem.

What's your current setup for handling failed payments?
