Daily digest of pull requests waiting for review for teams
Oh my god, my first blog post on Reviewbunny's blog has hit the front page of HN! Moreover, it's been #1 for the past few hours, which is incredible and has never happened to me before.
I wrote a blog post about my experience of choosing Ruby on Rails over a "classic" JavaScript SPA for Reviewbunny and apparently it's a hot topic these days → https://reviewbunny.app/blog/dont-make-me-think-or-why-i-switched-to-rails-from-javascript-spas.
There has been a steady ~250 people reading an article at any time since I posted it, which is lovely too. I hope I'll get at least a few teams signing up for Reviewbunny from this kind of traffic.
Exciting!
After 2 weeks of building, Reviewbunny is live!
I like posting my daily progress on Twitter, but this time I couldn't stick to the schedule. Some days I didn't do anything, other days I pushed tens of commits before noon. I am very happy though that I crossed the finish line on the first version.
I also think this website is the prettiest work I've ever done, because rabbits, carrots and trees are everywhere. It feels playful, almost childish, quite different from the rest of my projects. And I like that, it makes Reviewbunny stand out.
Even though I tweeted 4 hours ago about the launch and didn't get much interest, I'm still proud of this project. It focuses on a very specific problem and I think it has good potential on solving it.
I also tried a completely new tech stack this time — Ruby on Rails. This was so different from the "classic" SPAs I used to build, but in a good way. I've learned a lot and I even got like 3 new ideas while working on this one!
I've got one company's "yes" to set up Reviewbunny in their organization, so I'm looking forward to feedback!

Congratulations Vadim!!! We tried many times but tbh we're actually having a hard time getting our submissions approved, let alone be featured on the first page.
Do you have any advice on that HN submission?
