Reviews Tap
Helping small businesses generate feedback and positive revi
Launched V2 of Reviewstap today with a fresh design, more polished interface and more useful features.
If you have any business that already (or should) collect online reviews then we can help simplify and improve the process.
Any thoughts of feedback appreciated.
New version has a freemium tier instead of just a trial, but if anyone wants to take the full version for a spin message me for a coupon for 6 months free.
Its a while since we launched reviewstap and focus got diverted elsewhere shortly after.
But we have been focused in a forward direction recently with a new team member in marketing, redesign of the website and a load of product improvements on the way.
Today we relaunched the website in preparation for a full relaunch and major marketing push.
The app is now not matching the websites design but aim to update that to match tomorrow.
The product is also gradually evolving from review collection to all round review management.
Take a look at https://www.reviewstap.com/ and let me know your thoughts.

Not for reviewstap, but for the founding company AWcode who was also the first tester.
These rankings were all google local rankings rather than organic SEO, which come out on top.
Reviews being a factor in SEO results, primarily for local, was one of the drivers for this product so this is great positive feedback and validation.

We have just run the first live tests, using our own company as the test case.
12 Review requests sent
8 internal ratings received
4 google reviews left (though google removed 2 from staff members a day later)
Promising early signs, now we need to tidy up the system and prepare for launch.

Version 1 of Reviews Tap was very quick and simple, having been created over the course of a couple of weeks, outside of working hours by our founder.
This doesn't yet capture all of our goals and ambitions, but allows us to gain early feedback and iterate towards the perfect solution.
Expect a more refined product by the time that Reviews Tap reaches its first outside customers.

As Albert Einstein* once said, Imitation is the best form of flattery.
So for all of the existing products on the market doing something similar to ReviewsTap, we flatter you.
The initial idea was not unique even on the day we started, but we aim to change that with our approach and execution.
Most of our competitors aim at the multinationals with price points that match, however we feel that this product can provide the most benefits to the smaller businesses who don't have a 100 person marketing team.
Our approach is aimed at making Review collection and management not only affordable, but also usable and attractive to the smaller businesses, with a handful of staff.

Hey Mark,
An interesting idea and LP design looks nice, although I would say that your copy needs more work.
What I'd suggest is talking with prospects and utilizing their answers to update your copy (pain points, what are they looking to solve, etc.). You can also check reviews of a competitor's app to see a prospect's voice (again, to help you update your copy).
Have you tried offering a free tool where visitors can input their domain (or business) and it will display the reviews? Not sure if that is feasible/doable from development and server perspective.
Also -- implementing an overview video showing how your app works for a prospect might work.
I hope this helps!
