Rexfo
Stop impulsive trades before they happen
After 3+ years of forex trading, I realised my strategy wasn't the problem. I was. Skipping checklist items, revenge trading after losses, entering setups that didn't meet my own criteria. 85% of retail traders lose money, and most of them have the same issue - not bad strategies, but bad discipline.
I looked for a tool that would enforce discipline before entering a trade. Everything I found was a post-trade journal. Nothing stopped the bad trade from happening in the first place.
So I built Rexfo (rexfo.app) - a trading companion that sits next to your chart and makes you confirm your strategy checklist before every trade. It tracks discipline scores, emotions, confidence, and journals everything automatically.
Recently shipped an AI Strategy Lab where you describe any strategy in plain English and it backtests against real historical data. Works on forex, crypto, stocks, gold - any symbol, any timeframe.
Tech stack: Next.js 15, TypeScript, Supabase, TradingView, Claude AI, Twelve Data, Stripe. Built solo over 2 months from Melbourne.
Currently at zero users and zero revenue. Free 14-day trial, $29/month after. Just started reaching out to early-stage VCs in Australia and posting in trading communities today.
Would love feedback from fellow indie hackers - what would you focus on first: getting users through trading communities, or refining the product based on VC feedback?
About
I kept breaking my own trading rules and losing money. No tool actually stopped bad trades before they happened - so I built one.
