Risk Management
Helps to identify, analyze and report risks.
I was planning for my employer to be the first customer. I ended up changing jobs so that opportunity mostly left with me.
I am okay with this. Sometimes we need to know when to move on. It was good to get the experience of trying something even though it didn't work out.
With my new SaaS company I've been sure to be clear about the problem before starting.
Reached out to people in hope of getting input on my MVP.
Got no response.
Not sure what that means. Probably didn't reach out to enough people or people from the right segment.
Planning to focus on getting feedback from the one prospect that I do have.
I'll launch after it's demonstrated value for that one prospect.

Not knowing the details, I can only offer general advice. Either you're not reaching the right people, or enough of them, or it's an issue with your messaging. It could also be any combination of these inputs.

Thanks for your input Stephen! I agree. If I'm being honest it's likely a combination of all three. I need to get over my fear of rejection and put it myself/the product out there more. That's the only way I'll find out what its potential is.

Your welcome. I think you've done a great job at identifying the issue. Don't take rejection personally and don't take it as rejection. It's feedback that helps you discover that your product isn't for everyone but for certain people in particular.

Starting a SaaS business for the first time.
It's a Risk Management tool.
Did what I know how, built a website as an MVP.
There are three target markets I could pursue. They are:
First idea - Individuals (consumers)
Second idea - Internal small business risk managers.
Third idea - External risk consultants.
My intuition was initially to target individuals, maybe university students and adventurous explorers. While that would server my purpose I'd be scraping the barrel in terms of revenue.
Small business risk managers will have a business budget behind them. However, it's not the main priority of the organization.
Risk consultants' primary purpose is risk management, so targeting them has the most potential.
I'm still undecided.
I have started to reach out to prospects from each category by email.
Hopefully their feedback will indicate which target audience has the most potential.
