RivalScope
AI-powered competitive intelligence, on autopilot
Last year I was in a sales call with a promising lead. They pushed back on price. I quoted our comparison, confidently, because I'd checked the competitor's pricing page two months ago.
Turns out they'd dropped their price 30% in the meantime. Quietly. No announcement, no tweet. Just a page update.
I lost the deal. And I had no idea until the prospect told me.
The embarrassing part: I wasn't lazy. I was tracking competitors. I had a Notion doc, a weekly reminder, five bookmarks. The system just didn't scale. Pages change when you're not looking, and a raw diff of a pricing page tells you nothing about why it matters.
That's why I'm building RivalScope.
What it does
RivalScope monitors competitor websites -> pricing pages, homepages, feature pages, blogs and surfaces changes ranked by strategic importance. Not a raw diff. An actual signal. "They added an enterprise tier" is a 9/10. "They changed a button colour" is a 1/10. You get a weekly digest of what actually moved.
Where I am
Pre-launch. Building in public. The core monitoring engine is working. I'm validating the AI scoring model right now with real competitor data from a handful of beta users.
No VC. No team. Just me, a Mistral instance running on my laptop at 2am, and a genuine hatred of losing deals to information I should have had.
What I'd love from this community
If you've ever been caught off-guard by a competitor move — pricing change, new feature, repositioning — I'd love to hear what happened. How did you find out? What would have changed if you'd known a week earlier?
And if this is a pain you've felt, I'm opening a small waitlist for early access. No launch date pressure — just real founders who want to be first.

Honest feedback welcome, especially if you think I'm solving the wrong problem.
About
I built RivalScope after realising I was manually checking 6 competitor websites every week, copying pricing changes into a Notion doc, screenshotting landing pages, and still missing things. There had to be a better way
