Rivetz
Production engineering for AI-built apps
Hey IH, first post on the Rivetz product page. Figured the most useful thing to share isn't a polished launch announcement but what I've actually been learning in week 1.
Rivetz is a productized service that audits and hardens AI-built apps (Lovable/Bolt/V0) for non-technical founders. $1k for the audit, $3.5k for the cleanup, $1.2k/mo retainer. 100% async, no calls.
Where I am at day 7:
0 paying customers (expected at this stage)
5 Reddit posts: 1 got real traction (3 substantive Top 1% comments), 1 died at 0 upvotes, 2 got silently removed, 1 mod-rejected
1 X thread, 3 cold DMs sent (1 active conversation, 2 unread)
Site SEO + GEO foundation in place (robots.txt for AI crawlers, llms.txt, sitemap, JSON-LD on every page)
3 things I've learned that I didn't expect:
Cold DMs have a structural ceiling. Real-revenue builders close their DMs (smart). The ones with open DMs skew lower-revenue (pre-audit-budget). Public reply game beats cold DMs per impression.
Each Reddit sub has its own personality. Same content played 4 different ways in 4 subs. One got real engagement, one died, two got silently removed. The lesson isn't "Reddit doesn't work," it's "find the sub where your specific framing resonates and double down there."
The "compounding window" is real. Engagement at day 7 is near-zero. The math of distribution requires 30-60 days of consistent reps before signal shows. Optimizing the landing page or post format right now is procrastination disguised as work.
The content I keep posting is a 5-issue list of production problems in AI-built apps (API keys in bundle, RLS off, no rate limits, unsigned Stripe webhooks, no server-side validation). Full breakdown with fixes is on the site for anyone curious.
Two open questions for IH if you've been through this:
Productized service pricing (fixed price, async-only): what scales vs what doesn't?
Anyone broken through the "days 21-30" distribution valley with a tactic beyond daily reps?
Will keep posting weekly updates here as I figure things out.
About
AI-built apps (Lovable/Bolt/V0) look great in demo but break when real users show up. Most builders can't fix it themselves. Rivetz does. Fixed price, async only.
