Roadmap

I spent months thinking about the idea of moving roadmaps away from Spreadsheets and create a home for it.

Back then, we (https://3dro.ps) were still making our clients roadmaps in Sketch just because of the flexibility. But I knew most of the other companies were still stuck in Spreadsheets.

The high-level plan like Timeline for each phase, Milestones, and Who was responsible for them, and sometimes a detailed breakdown of each phase were all stuck in this tool nobody liked to use. It was time-consuming to keep it updated and to be honest, no one looked at it other than the managers.

So I decided to at least spent a few hours designing what a Roadmapping tool should look like. That was one of my best Christmas breaks.
