Roam Route Creator

We've got some interesting feedback so far - and we have got a first professional host to use our mobile app!
This was exactly what he needed (his words) in order to create walking routes in his hometown for his visitors - we did have to add that town to the list of supported towns, but we gladly did that!
A lot of people really needed easier way to see all Walks/Routes other people created and chose to share publicly. We have made few changes in our app (now you can mark route 'public') and created Roam Cities where all public routes can be found:

Unlike our mobile Roam Vancouver App we have decide to take alternative approach in marketing. Since the whole project was major effort of David (our principal developer) we gave him full liberty to market / showcase his work in the community.
He made posts on Reddit and HN and we got pleasantly surprised by people feedback!

Finally we are up and running (at least our Beta is):

Building this tool on the web is just taking too much time. We are not giving up but with all the holidays and changes in our team's personal life - we have lost the momentum. But we are not giving up.

After the release of our mobile app in Vancouver we have noticed a lot of interest from people to create their own walks. Even though our mobile app allows people to pick a route and then completely change it to make it their own, that process proved to be hard for anyone who is interested to create their own routes from scratch.
At the same time we started chatting with professional hosts in Vancouver and in NYC and we found out that most of them have binders with bunch of recommendations for their guests. Pain point for them is that they constantly needed to update info and that they are not able to give advice on how to spend a day or a portion of it (a lot of guests would come with the question "what can I see and where should I go in the afternoon in neighborhood x"). It is them that got most interested in what our app could help their guests with. This is good enough signal for us to go and try and build web tool for route creation...
