September 10, 2018 RoastMe: `Feedback as a service`

Hi! I'm JP. Aulet and thrilled to present you roastme.xyz, a platform for getting feedback and expert opinion for your products, ideas, websites, apps & business idea. It will solve some typical problems with solo-founders, entrepreneurs and more. The product is still in alpha phase but is a big step for me personally. I tend to procrastinate a lot, start projects and find it hard to actually finish things, for all of that I want to start a project, keep it small and ship ASAP.

I'm currently in the phase of collecting alpha users, the main goal of the product is to:
· Get real feedback before launching
· Receive critics, positive comments, new ideas for your product/ website/app from different people
· Growth your audience
· Be more noticeable
· Obtain focused expert comments & feedback as a service

I developed it within a week, from the basic idea, when I realized that a lot of people seeks on the internet for feedback for a product in different platforms like Twitter, PH, IH, etc. (for instance a search with the keyword "feedback" shows +2000 posts asking for feedback in IndieHackers) but none of them are specialized portals for doing it.

Then I get inspired with the name from @levelsio (who else?) when he posted this tweet:

Then I started coding it with some techs I'm learning because I think that the best way to learn is by using it in a real project. With 3 days I had a prototype of the MVP with working parts an fake others, the building process go like:

Day 1:

Day 3:

Day 7:

More Benefits that roastMe can help you with:

  • We bring emotion
Receiving feedback is always a good thing. With roastMe you can discover your product pitfalls before launching, discover what users think of your product or ask for design opinions.

  • We increment visibility
Making a roast will grow your audience and generate traffic to your product. You can easily share it and increment the impact of your launch.

  • We empower you
Sharing your ideas, product or design will let you from the fear or launch and you will be amused by how others love to help. Maybe you find your new collaborator or your very first client!

I know that:
" I can do it for free at X (twitter, indie hacker, etc.) "
Yes, probably yes. But with roastMe, you are supporting a hand-made little business and you will get real expert feedback & we will work hard to get you more and better feedback. Take a try!

Once finishing the building part, I'm focused on the promotion (one of my lacks) and with the launching day (today)!

Let's see how it works…

If you have a product, app, idea, design that want to share and receive some feedback, don't hesitate and post it to www.roastme.xyz !!

Thanks for your time & support!!
