RobinWords
collaborative storytelling
A friend and I made a daily word game/puzzle that gives you a source four-letter word and three target words. The goal is to change one letter at a time to form new words and make it through all of the target words in the fewest numbers of steps.
Please let me know what you think!
Thereβs a new puzzle posted every day (and some other game modes that you can play more frequently). We also set up a Wordle-like shareable summary of your game to compare how many steps it took you vs the optimal:

I released a redesign of the site that removed most of the interactive capabilities. This redesign has a static archive of the previous content on the site and maintains the interactive game (https://robinwords.com/game) which drives the vast majority of traffic.
I also open sourced the implementation (https://github.com/jrhizor/robinwords.github.io), which has already received one external contribution!
Originally this was set to "close" the site, but I have some new ideas for a v2 that will bolster the story creation component of the website.

When creating RobinWords, I wanted to make a social website that was creative-focused instead of consumption-focused. I haven't worked on it for years, but I have some new ideas for a v2.
