August 7, 2026 Launched RoleBolt — an AI hiring platform, built solo as a Class 12 student

Hey Indie Hackers! 👋

I'm sharing RoleBolt today — an AI-powered hiring platform I built solo.

The problem: employers get flooded with random, low-effort applications, while genuine job seekers get lost in the noise. RoleBolt uses an AI agent that helps recruiters instantly find the best-fit candidates for a role, and automates a lot of the manual screening work.

A bit about me — I'm currently in Class 12, self-taught myself to code, and built RoleBolt end-to-end (backend, AI integration, billing). It started as a hackathon project and won 1st prize at the Mesh API Hackathon 2026.

Right now I'm in the early stage, still building and refining based on feedback. Would genuinely love for you to check it out and tell me what you think — good, bad, or anything I'm missing.

Building the product end-to-end is impressive, especially from a hackathon project.

Now that you’re getting feedback from people outside the original build context, what have you learned about who has the strongest need for RoleBolt compared with what you initially expected?

About

RoleBolt exists because I noticed a real problem on both sides of hiring — employers struggling to find genuine candidates, and job seekers getting lost in the noise. I built RoleBolt to fix this using AI.
