Gave a free license to the German Red Cross
by Mateusz ZielińskiSo far Roombelt has been used only by less-known organizations. Recently, the German Red Cross asked me about a discount for them as a non-profit. I responded that I'd be proud to support them and offered a free lifetime license.
I know how much the Red Cross does for people in need and the fact that they are using my software feels great!

That's super cool. I used to work for Red Cross in Spain, as a Bay Watcher. And I know what it is and what they go through...

The advice to raise prices to maximize profits is pretty prevalent for startups.
However, I'm planning to price my product higher than needed not necessarily to put more money in my own pocket, but to be able to afford to give away the product to the organizations and people doing great things for all of us...
...just like you.
