Launched brand new website

Excited to replace our existing site with a ground-up rebuild - designed with a fresh coat of paint to make it easier than ever to list your room, or create a profile to find a room.

We got to adopt a couple of new technologies in our stack - migrating to Laravel (PHP) and Vue.js on the front end.

Hey Dwight, are you referring to www.roomies.com? If so, has the new version launched yet?

Hey - that's the one! We launched the new site in March of this year but only just added it to Indie Hackers now. I thought I backdated this milestone but it seems to show up as today.

Cool! Have you been targeting certain cities to promote at a local level? I looked up my city (Portland) and there seemed to be a healthy number of people actively using it.

No, nothing local at this stage - just organic. We've generally been quite strong on the west coast, so just checking out Portland now and great to see a fair bit of activity there.

Do you have marketing copy that speaks to different cities, to drive organic seo?
