Automatic Chore Roster - allocation with reminders
I was recently interviewed about my upcoming NoCode SaaS product by the @NoCodeWealth podcast. I discuss how the idea came about and some other opportunities regarding sharing what I am learning.

After building enough of the product to prove it was possible to deliver the features, I changed tack and focussed on setting up a good looking landing page, where I could validate that others see value in the idea, and could leave their email for followup. Now that I'm collecting a list of interested people, my focus is on polishing the backend features, ready for full launch.
The landing page is at https://RosterBuddy.app

I've been managing housework job allocation for my family of 5 for years, using a google sheet. It's pretty tiresome, needing to chase up any uncompleted tasks, pester the kids enough, but not too much, and generate a new sheet each week. Things that are repetitive like this are well suited to automation. It seemed obvious that this would be a common problem for anyone sharing a household, be it a family, or a student house/flat, or any other type of shared living arrangement. I also assumed that there are differing views in a group of people about how often different chores should be done, especially cleaning chores. So the idea is that the most 'motivated' person in a household would pay a small amount per month to take all that task management stress, and manage the process via a web app. Shared data via a SaaS makes everyone see the same status, and alerting for non complete jobs is automated.

It can be a source of stress in a home when people have different expectations about how clean and tidy the house should be. Chores need doing, and it makes sense to have the allocation and reminding as easy as possible.
