Your title should clearly state your request, e.g. "Please vet my startup idea — XYZ".

In the body of your post, the most important thing is to ensure people actually understand your idea. So begin by sharing your startup idea clearly and succinctly. You may want to do this in several different ways, or provide some examples of how its used (from a customer's perspective) to ensure readers understand your idea.

For example, "I'm building ACME Inc. It a giant online store for dangerous gadgets. Think of it as Amazon for fireworks and explosives. For example, if you run a fireworks warehouse and you're looking to stock your shelves with some new innovative products, you come to my site and browse the selection and order what you'd like, and we ship it to you within 3 days."

Once you've clearly explained the idea, ask people for their opinion. Be specific here. Do you want to know if they think there's a market for it? Do you want to know if it's original? Do you want to know if there are lots of competitors? Do you want to know if it's feasible to build? Ask for specific information you want.

Added a email capturing widget so that I can contact interested people when I launch the app.
