I just shipped a fun new feature in Roteirito (my AI-powered travel itinerary builder):
👉 “Me Surpreenda!” (“Surprise me!” in Portuguese)
Instead of choosing a destination, you can now click this button and Roteirito will pick a random place and instantly generate a full itinerary for you. 🌍✈️
The idea:
Make trip planning more exciting
Help people discover destinations they might never think of
Add a playful element to the product
Why this matters
Most travel planning tools assume you already know where you want to go.
But many people just feel like traveling, without a specific place in mind.
“Me Surpreenda!” is a way to turn that uncertainty into inspiration.

I’ve been working on Roteirito – an AI-powered trip planner that creates personalized travel itineraries in just a few seconds.
Why Roteirito?
Planning a trip is exciting, but also overwhelming and time-consuming. You open 20 tabs, scroll through blogs, YouTube, TikTok, reviews… and after hours you still don’t know what to do each day.
With Roteirito, you just tell us your destination (or even let us surprise you!) and our AI will build a day-by-day travel plan with activities, tips, and recommendations. The goal: save time, reduce stress, and make travel planning fun again.

great idea and product, i did notice an issue when navigating months Jan > Feb. The calendar jumps from top of the screen to below. After several attempts it crashed

I like this a lot. Sometimes the hardest part of traveling is just picking a place, so removing that decision feels refreshing. A filter for budget or trip style could make it even more practical without losing the fun side.
