One suggestion would be to put a "Age" or date published/date updated.

One thing I found difficult with finding resources as a newbie was not seeing or knowing the age of things. IE a post/course from 3 years ago vs another that was only made 6 months ago.

I've always wished that they would start with a "versions used" or something. (now I know to check gemfile etc to figure out approx age/versions used) to see how relevant it might be.

So much of the Rails education stuff is quite old.

I totally agree with you and appreciate your suggestion. Actually, RubyHunt's current default order already covers some of this point. I attempt to put the high-value content in the front. But it's can't be simply solved by the "published date". A 10 years old book may still look more valuable than a new one. I have a robust algorithm to calculate the score for each. I'm on the way to solve it. It's just beginning.

Thank you for taking the time to give me such detailed feedback! Thank you again.

It took me few days to create RubyHunt with Ruby on Rails, one week to integrate with Stripe, but spend about 3 months to collect all those ruby books and courses in Ruby communities, and put them all on site. The hardest part is to write brief description for each learning resource and author for making it easier for user to read. I'm happy with this process, it's just my daily habit to collect ruby learning resources for future learning.
