The idea for Rukmer actually started in the world of drone hardware. While building vision systems for drones, I realized that the biggest challenge wasn't just capturing data - it was making sense of the mountains of unstructured "dark data" (images, videos, and docs) that companies collect every day but never actually use.

We decided to pivot and build the software layer that was missing.

Rukmer is a VLM-powered platform designed to turn that visual noise into searchable, actionable intelligence. Whether it’s massive video archives or complex document sets, we’re making it as easy to query your visual data as it is to search a text file.
