First Explosive Reddit Post

Had a unexpected surprise on a Reddit post. While I did prepare quiet a bit to write up a concise yet captivating description, I feel as if setting a video as the main attraction helped gain traction. Really thankful to the /r/productivity community!

You smashed it. You were top of the subreddit for a long time.

How much traffic did it drive?

    1. 2

Around 700 visitors in two days from Reddit. Far from what we got from Producthunt last year (around 10k in two days) but still a nice bump up from our usual traffic! The conversion rate was much higher from Reddit however (19% vs 10%).

I recommend setting a video / gif as your main post content. Further descriptions can be set in the comment section. I find that this is far more effective than writing out descriptions in text in the post content.
