Ryphor

Social listening that turns posts into customers

August 20, 2026 Getting my first users was brutal, so I built a tool that finds people already asking for your product

Like most founders, the hardest part wasn't building the product. It was finding people who actually wanted it. I tried the usual stuff, cold DMs, posting in random communities, and it mostly felt like shouting into the void (and a little gross).

Then I noticed something. Every day, people were publicly describing the exact problem my product solved, on Reddit, Hacker News, Stack Exchange, and more. "What's a cheaper alternative to X?" "Anyone else frustrated with Y?" These were the warmest leads I could ask for, and I was never going to find them by hand.

So I built Ryphor. You give it your product once, and it scans those platforms for people talking about the problem you solve, scores each post by how ready they are to buy, and drafts a reply grounded in your actual product. You read it, tweak it, and post it yourself. Nothing is ever auto-posted, you stay in control.

A few things grew out of using it on myself: it tracks the recurring complaints about your competitors (great openings), it warns you before you post too much and get flagged (Reddit bans are real), and it checks whether ChatGPT/Perplexity/Claude actually recommend you when buyers ask.

I'm using Ryphor to find the first users for Ryphor, which is a fun loop and keeps me honest about what's broken. It's live now, and I'd genuinely love feedback from this community, especially on the intent scoring and reply quality. If you've cracked early distribution a different way, I'm all ears.

I'm interested in this space and want to do more social outreach. Can I record a short video review with feedback?

Yes please, that'd be genuinely useful. Happy to set you up with free access so you've got something real to record against rather than just the landing page.

Drop me the email you want it on and I'll sort it.

Great - happy to send my feedback over. I'll start with the landing page as a first look and we can decide where to go from there. I do this for a lot of founders and their early products. You can schedule your recording day here: https://betabloom.app/clarity-consult

Booked in for Aug 31. Landing page first works. Free access is still there whenever you want to go past the page, say the word and I'll set it up.

The strongest signal is the intent layer. You’re not just finding mentions of a problem; you’re trying to distinguish people who are actually close to buying.

That's the bit I'd defend, yeah. Mention-finding is close to a solved problem, there are free tools that do it well.

The scoring is three things: how frustrated they sound, whether they've mentioned leaving their current tool, and how well the product actually fits what they're describing. Switching intent turned out to matter most. Frustration alone just gets you people who complain and never move.

Where it's still weak: it can't tell budget. Someone furious about their tool but with no money to move is scored high and shouldn't be. Haven't worked out how to read that from a public post yet.

The switching-intent distinction is interesting. I’d be happy to continue the conversation beyond the thread — would you be open to sharing the best email to reach you on?

Thanks! I’ve just sent it over. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.

About

Finding customers shouldn't mean cold outreach. Your buyers are already posting about the exact problem you solve, and Ryphor puts them in front of you.
