Rythmo

AI sales intelligence for small teams

Visit Website
December 3, 2025 After 15 years in B2B sales, I'm building the tool I wish existed (with zero coding experience)

Hey IH 👋

I'm Brad. I've spent 15 years in B2B SaaS sales — as a rep, as a leader, building and managing teams across the UK.

And for 15 years, I've had the same problem:

I keep losing deals because my conversations are scattered everywhere.

The Pain (That Finally Broke Me)

Here's what my life looked like:

  • Important discovery call on my mobile → notes scribbled on paper, half-forgotten by end of day

  • Email thread with buying signals buried → lost in inbox hell

  • Calendar full of meetings → can't remember what we discussed 2 weeks ago

  • Prospect goes cold → I forgot to follow up because I didn't remember what to say

I'd estimate I lost 20-30% of my winnable deals to this chaos. Not because I was bad at sales. Because context disappears.

And I'm not alone. Most small sales teams (2-5 reps) operate the same way — scattered notes, memory, and hope.

What I Tried (And Why It Failed)

Gong/Chorus: £150/month, enterprise-focused, requires everyone on Zoom. But 70% of my calls happen on mobile. It doesn't capture those.

Fireflies/Otter: Gives me 45-minute transcripts. I don't need transcripts. I need to know: "What matters? What do I do next?"

CRM notes: Let's be honest. Nobody fills these in properly. Including me.

Spreadsheets/Notion: Manual. Falls apart after 2 weeks.

Nothing worked for how small sales teams actually work.

The "Screw It, I'll Build It" Moment

About 6 months ago, I decided I'd had enough waiting for someone else to solve this.

One small problem: I can't code.

I'm not technical. Never built software. Didn't know what an API was 12 months ago.

But I'd seen what people were doing with AI tools — Claude, Cursor, Replit — and thought: maybe I can figure this out.

How I'm Building This (Non-Technical Founder + AI)

My stack:

  • Next.js (learned from scratch, still learning)

  • Supabase (database + auth)

  • Claude (my co-founder, basically)

  • Nylas (email/calendar sync)

  • Vercel (hosting)

My process:

  • Describe what I want to Claude

  • Get code, paste it, break things

  • Debug with Claude's help

  • Repeat until it works

  • Celebrate small wins

It's slow. It's messy. I've mass-deleted my project twice. I've mass-restarted my project 3 times. I've mass-deleted my supabase tables more times than I can count.

But it's working. I have a functioning app. Users can sign up, connect Gmail, sync emails, and see AI analysis of their conversations.

6 months ago I couldn't have imagined typing that sentence.

What Rythmo Does

Rythmo captures every sales conversation:

✅ Email — auto-synced from Gmail ✅ Calendar — meetings tracked automatically
✅ Mobile calls — 90-second AI interview after ANY call (this is the big one)

Then AI does the heavy lifting:

  • Shows you what needs attention TODAY

  • Flags deals at risk

  • Drafts follow-up emails using full context

  • Tells you what to DO, not just what was said

The mobile call capture is the key differentiator. 70% of sales calls happen on mobile. Nobody captures these properly. Rythmo does — with a quick AI interview that extracts the important stuff in 90 seconds.

No recordings. No transcripts. Just structured intelligence.

Where I'm At

Built:

  • Auth system (login/signup)

  • Email sync via Nylas

  • AI analysis of conversations

  • Basic dashboard

  • Landing page + waitlist

Building now:

  • Calendar sync

  • Mobile call AI interview

  • Chrome extension

  • "What needs attention today" view

Target: Private beta in 4-6 weeks with 10 users

Why I'm Sharing This

Honestly? A few reasons:

1. Accountability

Building in public keeps me honest. If I say I'm launching beta in 6 weeks, now I have to.

2. Connection

I'd love to meet other founders on similar journeys — especially non-technical folks building with AI. It's lonely sometimes. Having people who get it helps.

3. Feedback

I don't have all the answers. I'm making decisions every day that I'm not 100% sure about. If you see something obviously wrong with my approach, please tell me. I'd rather hear it now than after launch.

4. Help

If you know someone who:

  • Is on a small sales team and drowning in scattered conversations

  • Has built a Chrome extension and can point me to good resources

  • Has launched a B2B SaaS and learned hard lessons

...I'd genuinely appreciate an intro or advice.

The Ask

I'm looking for 10 beta users — sales reps or leaders at small B2B teams who:

  • Feel the pain I described

  • Want early access to shape the product

  • Will give honest feedback (even if it's "this sucks")

In return:

  • Free access during beta

  • Founder pricing locked forever

  • Direct line to me for feature requests

Interested? Drop your email at rythmo.ai or DM me here.

Follow the Journey

I'll be posting updates here and on X (@BradleyJPowell) as I build.

The good, the bad, the "why won't this bloody API work" moments.

If you're building something too, let's connect. Always happy to chat, compare notes, or just commiserate about the struggle.

Thanks for reading.

— Brad

P.S. — If you're a non-technical founder thinking "I could never build software" — you probably can. The tools are insane now. Happy to share what I've learned if it helps.
