S.C.A.L.A. is an AI operating system I built as a solo founder to solve the problem I kept hitting in operations roles: every business runs 5-10 disconnected SaaS tools that don't talk to each other, cost a fortune combined, and still need manual glue work.

S.C.A.L.A. consolidates CRM, business intelligence, scheduling, WhatsApp automation, and AI agents into one platform. The core differentiator is SARA — an open-source (AGPL-3.0) AI assistant that handles customer WhatsApp conversations 24/7 in 6 languages. Currently running 20+ autonomous AI agents with 30+ MCP tool handlers in production across 20 industry verticals.

The acquisition engine includes 131 free business tools (SEO, finance, operations) and SCALA Score, a free B2B database with 252M+ company records — both bring in organic traffic and leads at zero CAC.

Tech stack: Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, multi-model AI routing (Claude, Mistral, Gemini). European-headquartered in Milan, Italy. GDPR-compliant by design. Bootstrapped, no funding.

How did you come up with the idea?

I spent years in general management and operations across industrial companies, startups, and PE-backed businesses. Every company ran 5-10 disconnected SaaS tools that cost thousands per month combined and still required manual work to bridge the gaps. I built what I wished existed: one AI-native platform that handles the full operational stack for service businesses.
