Today I got the first SaasFrontends customer.

He bought the React Sandbox edition, which has 30+ functional pages, although it doesn't have a backend.

This is the current Gumroad Dashboard:

January 16, 2022 Launching SaasFrontends v1.0

In 2020, I released my first boilerplate for building SaaS applications, netcoresaas.com. It included a Vue2 frontend with a .NET backend.

Not until 1 year later, I was able to migrate from Vue2 to Vue3, Vue3 to React and React to Svelte.

Introducing SaasFrontends v1.0.

As they say, If it were easy, everyone would do it.

Challenges:

  • Creating the Boilerplate
  • Migrating Vue2 to Vue3
  • Migrating Vue3 to React
  • Migrating React to Svelte
  • Creating the Documentation
  • Creating free UI Components
  • Creating the Editions
  • Publishing Demos
  • Publishing Codebases
  • Publishing on Gumroad
  • Creating the Blog

About

I already had a Vue2 + .NET boilerplate, so this time I wanted to add Vue3, React and Svelte frontend versions, and keep the door open for future backends that are not in the .NET ecosystem, like Next.js.
