Hey Indie Hackers,

I’m super excited (and a bit nervous!) to share something I’ve been working on: Saasgen—a tool to help aspiring founders come up with SaaS ideas and actually get started.

The idea came from my own struggles as a wannabe founder. I’d spend hours brainstorming ideas, Googling tech stacks, and trying to figure out how to monetize or market something—only to feel totally stuck.

That’s when it hit me: what if there was a way to skip some of that frustration and focus on building instead? That’s how Saasgen was born.

Here’s how it works:

• You answer a few quick questions about your ideal MRR and when you’d like to launch.

• Saasgen gives you tailored SaaS ideas, complete with a tech stack, monetization plans, marketing strategies, and resources to get started.

The goal? Help people like me (and maybe you!) turn those “what if” thoughts into actionable plans.

Where I’m at now:

• The MVP is live, but it’s definitely a work in progress.

• I’m gathering feedback and figuring out what’s most helpful to users.

What’s next:

• Expanding the database of ideas and resources.

• Creating a community where users can share wins and lessons as they build.
