100,000+ Products

SaaS Tribune

I reported that there were 77,686 approved products exactly 2 months ago. As of now, I can share that that number is 100,086. Apart from the number of new products, there have been many other improvements:

  • New logo (that I believe looks better and more professional)
  • A new version of the SaaS Tribune giving focus on new and cool start-ups every day (i.e. this feature is making SaaSHub a direct competitor to BetaList & BetaPage)
  • A weekly newsletter featuring some of the top products from the SaaS Tribune
  • The approval process (newly submitted products & reviews)
  • Better reviews support + a dedicated reviews page per product
  • Upgraded the back-end to the latest version of Ruby on Rails ✨
  • Stopped accepting reviews and registrations from disposable email addresses.
  • Three recurring customers promoting their products

So what's next? Well, apart from the endless list of ideas for small improvements, I will be putting constant effort into improving the quality of lists with alternatives. The end goal is SaaSHub to be the best website where you can find the top and most objectively correct alternatives of any software product.

In the end, if you are building a software product, it's free to submit and verify it on SaaSHub. If it has a modern look and seems useful, I'd be happy to feature it on the SaaS Tribune.

Cheers!

    That’s a lot of SaaS!

For your newsletter, it’s not immediately obvious that you have one or where to signup. I’m on mobile and had to scroll maybe 2/3 of the way down before I saw an opt in.

If growing your email list is important (should be) then you might want to have an opt in much higher up the page.

Thanks, mate! It hasn't been that important. Maybe it should be. I introduced that just last week. Lot's of room for improvements.

Ooooh I love what you're working on here. I think it makes a lot of sense for us to connect & chat about the SaaS landscape and how SaaSHub and Saasify could potentially work together in the future.

    Cheers 😄

Nice idea with Saasify. Yes, we could potentially work together.

As I needed a little break from a very long feature I'm working on, I played with building a repository of saas services. Since there are many of those, I thought that a nice differentiator would be to allow makers share their stack, so you'd get to see how many products are using other products, and that can help rate them higher.
I always like thise posts in IH about what services others are using, I think it has a lot of value.
I eventually let it go and got back to form-data.com, so here's an idea for you, if you want :)

Yes, that's something that's in my todo list already. It will potentially happen.

100k! How do you go about adding them all in?
