Saax

One of the rookie mistake I made was to not start marketing Saax from the onset.

Few weeks into finishing the MVP, I have decided to start marketing Saax to gain people's interest.

• I created a Twitter page to start acquiring followers: https://twitter.com/saaxhq
• I have started promoting Saax on multiple Slack channels

The aim is to gain interest before the first beta launch in January 2022.

I had been using WordPress for quite a while, but I was always frustrated with how bloated and buggy it can get sometimes. As I was following a tutorial on Django, I decided to expand on it and create a minimalist blog platform without compromising on features. This gave birth to Saax.

Saax is a blogging platform that allows content creator to publish content via the web and newsletters, and also get paid via membership subscriptions.

Whilst the idea of Saax is not new in itself. It is meant to be:

• a competitive alternative to existing platforms
• a free SaaS alternative: freely accessible to those who without technical skills
• a platform that allows creators to easily promote their content on social media. (An upcoming unique feature)
